ReplyDeleteA cool share, but I cannot fathom the need to label such scans, i.e. 'watermarking' them. The edits spoil the originals. The scanner owns his/her scans, but why share them in the first place, then?
ReplyDeleteI do this becuase it took A LOT of time to scan all these up... And I have been the victim before of folks taking my scans and using them on other websites without my permission... Websites that get money through advertising dollars (which I do not). So basically they take all the work I did, post in on their site as their own, and then make money off of it.
DeleteSo thus... I have to watermark. I hate it as much as you do, but is the only way to make these guys stop.
